Who & What is Pickle Offroad?
In June 2018 a group of Jeepers that would later become Pickle Offroad tackled their first trail together...Fins and Things in Moab, Utah.

In June of 2018, a group of Jeepers traveled from North Carolina, Illinois, Minnesota, and New Mexico to tackle the trails of Moab, Utah. The original crew consisted of 3 JKUs, a Cherokee Trailhawk, and an XJ. Most of us had never met each other, nor challenged ourselves offroad the way that Moab did.

Having not gotten together for 2 years, a trip to Colorado was planned in 2020. A few new faces joined to complete Black Bear Pass, Imogene Pass, Engineer Pass and Ophir Pass. The diversity of our Jeeps continued to grow as we took to the trails in a JLU, 2 JKUs, a diesel YJ and a CJ-7.

Three years to the day of our first meeting, we were again in Moab, Utah. Although most of us don’t get to see each other in between offroad excursions, it’s as though no time has passed at all. When we’re together we keep it simple:

  1. Don’t look another member in the eye when they are enjoying a pickle.
  2. Help each other out of a pickle on the trail.
  3. Get pickled together after each day’s adventure.

So, it only seemed right that after 3 years and countless memories made that our band of 7 slot warriors accept the title of Pickle Offroad.
